BBVA Valora application helps customers decide whether to buy a home. Thanks to the use of big data technologies this digital tool gives customers who are considering purchasing a home: access to information on the area where it is located, estimated price and size of the home in addition to other data and whether their economic situation will allow them to purchase.
Challenge
The design challenge was to define a user experience & visual interface that provides an excellent experience for BBVA customers, whether they enter from the desktop or the mobile application.
Design
I worked hand in hand with a small team within the company, using agile as a working method to quickly explore and test different user experience solutions. Publishing an MVP accessible only to BBVA employees allowed us to quickly test the designs as well as make the necessary modifications to align the tool with the business objectives.
One of the challenges of the project was using the design system available at that time at BBVA. We wanted to show all the information in a highly visual format, with search maps, images and graphs of the properties, but most of the components were oriented to show data and quantities. Working in collaboration with the design team in charge of the design system was key to achieving the desired result.
